The F51 fault code indicates that some parts of your Maytag Bravo machine need to be replaced. Not infrequently, the error stops a machine, so it can be very annoying.
If you see the F51 fault code flashing on the LCD display and hear repeated beeping, press Stop.
This happens when the rotor position sensor faces a connection problem. It disrupts all communication between the sensor and the main control board.
This can be a challenge, especially for the inexperienced. Not unlikely, the sensor’s connections have grown rusty. If you have done this before, remove the sensor and clean its connections. If not, contact your technical service provider.
This is also typical of Kenmore, Oasis and Whirlpool machines. In other modifications, the rotor position sensor is the same as the motor position sensor.
